What are you going to do?
Analyzing error codes, programming engine management systems, chip tuning, detecting electrical faults, making diagnoses, and solving CAN bus problems. Does this sound like something for you? Are you starting to get excited? Then we are looking for you!
For a new role within our company, we are looking for someone with technical experience to strengthen our Automotive team. In this role, you will provide technical sales and service support to our customers. Ideally, you have a background in automotive technology or experience with the aforementioned activities, for example because you have worked for a racing team, as a First Car Mechanic or because you want to delve into electrical engineering, programming or racing technology. An MBO diploma in Automotive Technology, combined with an interest or experience in electrical engineering, is also a good basis.
About the employer
Our client not only supplies the majority of the material needed to build a racing engine, but they also supply many parts outside the engine. Think of engine management, exhaust and transmission parts. At ProX Racing Parts, in the Powersports segment, this goes even further with wear-sensitive parts such as brake parts and filters. They supply parts for both the enthusiast and the professional racer and for both the Automotive and Powersports segments.
Requirements
- You have experience with or knowledge of electrical and onboard systems in the automotive sector.
- You have experience with engine management systems.
- You are good with computers.
- You can make a wiring harness yourself.
- You are skilled in detecting electrical faults, or you are motivated to develop this further.
- You have a good feeling for the commercial side of the profession.
- You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
