Field Service Engineer EMEA

What are you going to do?

  • Implementation of mechanical and electrical control systems for the conditioning platform.
  • Supporting the development and roll-out of new technologies.
  • Assist with all pre-sale and after-sale activities including initial enquiries, technical evaluations, installations, commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in design meetings to discuss project conditions, recommended changes for installation work, and project scheduling (manning recommendations and time estimates).
  • Manage/assist with project installations as the on-site representative of this client. This includes project planning, training and supervision of contractors/suppliers and inventory management.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project issues, changes to scope of work, and final approvals.
  • Lead/assist site visits with customers/end users to gather necessary project information.
  • Ensuring the safety of employees.

Requirements

  • At least a completed HBO study in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in using HMIs, motors and frequency controllers used in equipment.
  • Experience in the food industry.
  • Ability to adjust control parameters.
  • Able to clearly articulate mechanical and electrical concepts.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in on-site project management.
  • Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills related to project installation management.
  • Physically able to lift 25kg.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Additional languages ​​are a big plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-60% and provide on-site support during weekends and holidays as required by client and project schedules.
