What are you going to do?

Our client in Barendrecht is looking for an Order Management Agent immediately. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and timely flow of freight and information, and provide excellent customer service within the Order Management department. This role requires accuracy, efficiency and strong communication skills to meet the increasing demands of international trade.

As an Order Management Agent, you are responsible for the smooth handling of the freight process and the accurate entry of data into the operational system. Tracking and tracing of files, timely dispatch of documents, and communication of arrival notifications for export shipments are part of the daily tasks. In addition, you ensure accurate invoicing to both customers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training;
  • Knowledge of the global logistics industry;
  • Understanding of the (ocean) documentation process is a plus;
  • Team player with the ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively;
  • Proactive and strong organizational skills;
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook);
  • Proficient in writing and speaking English, Dutch is a plus.
