What are you going to do?
For our client in Bleiswijk we are immediately looking for employees for the order picking department. As an order picker you are responsible for collecting and preparing orders for our customers. It is therefore very important that you work accurately.
- You collect orders using a hand scanner;
- You check the products for quality and quantity;
- You pack the orders and ensure they are ready for shipment;
- You help with loading and unloading trucks;
- You process the administration.

It is a global wholesaler of pipes, valves and fittings (PVF) and other infrastructure products and services. The company supplies these products and services to various end markets, including the gas and water pipelines, downstream, industrial and energy transition, upstream production and midstream pipeline sectors. They have a distribution center in Bleiswijk where the work will also take place. The company is easily accessible by both public transport and car from The Hague, Zoetermeer, Rotterdam, Waddinxveen and Gouda.
Requirements
- You are in good physical condition;
- You are accurate and have an eye for detail;
- You are flexible and can work in a changing environment;
- You are proficient in the Dutch language;
- You are in possession of a forklift and reach truck and VCA certificate.
What we offer
For this fulltime position you will work from Monday to Friday. The working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00. You will receive a salary that matches your education, experience and company policy. The salary range for the position is €14.00 - €15.00 per hour. This salary will be paid every 4 weeks. Your first contract is a temporary employment contract, but there is certainly a prospect of permanent employment. You will receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
