What are you going to do?
In this role, you are responsible for collecting orders. You bring the products you have collected to your colleagues who will process them for shipment. Working at this company means 'one time right'. By this they mean that they ensure a completely correct and timely delivery to the customers. It is important that you can work accurately and have an eye for detail. If you are good with a hand scanner and you already have some experience as a warehouse employee, then this position is for you! We are looking for a full-time employee, 40 hours per week. The working days are from Monday to Friday during office hours (08:30 to 17:00).
About the employer
It is an international company with employees all over the world. If you come to work for us, you will work in the Shipping department, this is a small, close-knit team consisting of 7 colleagues. Furthermore, in this position you will work closely with other colleagues from the Warehouse and you will have regular contact with colleagues from our Customer Service department. The company is located in Alphen aan den Rijn. Therefore, it is useful if you live near: The Hague, Zoetermeer, Alphen aan den Rijn, Leiden, Gouda, Bodegraven, Koudekerk or Hazerswoude-Dorp.
Requirements
- You have a good command of Dutch and basic English;
- You are reliable, friendly and a team player;
- You can work with concentration for long periods of time;
- You are comfortable using handheld scanners;
- You have no trouble standing and walking for long periods of time;
- You already have a 'basic air freight employee certificate' (this is an advantage).
What we offer
You will start with a temporary employment contract with the prospect of a permanent contract. Your salary will be between €2,300 and €2,800 per month, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a travel allowance and on top of your salary you will receive an additional ADV allowance.
Because you will come into contact with aircraft parts in the warehouse and the shipments concern air freight, you will follow a Security Awareness training before you can independently perform this function. After you have successfully completed this training, you will be in possession of an 'air freight employee basic certificate'.
