Production employee morning/night in Amsterdam
What are you going to do?
As a mail sorter, you are responsible for correctly assigning mail to the correct delivery person, and you work with your colleagues to ensure that all mail is sent on time every day.
As a production employee at one of our client's sorting locations, you work closely with your colleagues to sort and bundle the mail. You then organize these bundles in the correct order and place them in bags for the mail deliverers. Your precision and orderliness are essential, as your work ensures that the mail deliverers can perform their tasks correctly and on time.
If you have experience as a warehouse employee, order picker, logistics employee or production employee, this position may suit you well.
About the employer
Our client is one of the largest players in the field of mail delivery in the Netherlands and has many locations in the Randstad. The building where you will be working is located in Amsterdam-Westpoort. Because there are not so many buses and trains running around your working hours, it is important that you live near Amsterdam, Zaandam, Schiphol, Hoofddorp or Haarlem.
Requirements
- There is a one week training period. After this week you can choose which days you want to work. Ideally you are available from Monday to Friday.
- When you work an evening shift you will receive a 20% surcharge from 8:00 PM and a 40% surcharge from 10:00 PM;
- You work neatly and pay attention;
- You are stress resistant;
- You continue until the work is completely finished;
- You start with a temporary employment contract
- You speak Dutch and/or English.
What we offer
- The salary for this position is €13.68 per hour. With allowances you will earn between €16.42 and €19.15 per hour;
- You will receive a travel allowance;
- The possibility to work part-time;
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks;
- Free parking.
