What are you going to do?

As an Operational Supervisor, you will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for activities such as shipping, packing, kitting and receiving. The focus is on delivering products safely and on time, in accordance with customer expectations and cost commitments. In this role, you will manage a team of approximately 8 Material Handlers (order pickers) and drive continuous process improvement. As a Supervisor, you will also ensure effective scheduling, availability of materials and resources, and change control. In addition, you will support and drive the PPI (Practical Process Improvement) Business System within Operations, with the aim of eliminating waste and improving performance. As a Supervisor, you will be an exemplary leader who promotes a culture of safety and encourages involvement and accountability within the team. The work will take place in a shift system, with working hours between 07:00 - 19:00. Work is carried out 7 days a week at this location.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • Relevant operational experience or a relevant diploma;
  • Experience in batch production and/or packaging within a technical or scientific field;
  • Excellent leadership qualities with a people-oriented approach;
  • Experience with GMP and familiarity with a high throughput system;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
