Operational Excellence Manager

Operational Excellence Manager in Nieuw-Vennep

What are you going to do?

We are looking for a versatile Operational Excellence Manager, a logistics expert with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. With your expertise and experience in warehouse processes such as goods receipt, assembly, order picking, putaway and replenishment, you are responsible for optimizing our warehouse, implementing improvements and achieving the set objectives. You support your colleagues during the change processes and take charge of the team in the absence of the warehouse manager.

About the employer

Our customer not only supplies the majority of the materials needed to build a racing engine, but also various parts outside the engine. Think of engine management systems, exhaust systems and transmission parts. At ProX Racing Parts, within the Powersports segment, this is taken a step further with wear-sensitive parts such as brake systems and filters. They offer a wide range of products for both hobbyists and professional racers, and serve both the Automotive and Powersports sectors.

Requirements

  • You have a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • You have knowledge of WMS, and experience with the Kardex shuttle system is a plus.
  • You have experience with continuous improvement and Kaizen methodologies.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience with continuous improvement processes.
  • You have at least 2 years of management experience.
  • You are skilled in change management and coaching.
  • Qualities such as team player, strong analytical skills, good listener and self-starter describe you perfectly.
  • You are proficient in both Dutch and English.

What we offer

  • You will work at a dynamic company with a flat organization and short lines of communication.
  • The team is diverse and friendly, and you get a lot of independence in your work. Of course, you can always ask your colleagues questions, because together you form one team with a common goal.
  • There is plenty of room to grow in your role, with opportunities to take relevant courses when necessary for your role or personal development.
  • You are entitled to 24 vacation days (for a 40-hour workweek), so that you can relax sufficiently next to your work - something we find very important. In addition, we try to add extra days off 'from the boss' every year.
  • You start with a 7-month contract, which will be converted into a permanent contract if you perform well.
  • In addition, you are eligible for an end-of-year bonus, depending on both your own performance and that of the company.
  • A salary of 3,000 to 3,500 euros, depending on your experience.
