What are you going to do?

For one of our clients we are looking for someone who can strengthen the Shipping Team in Hoofddorp with fresh ideas and knowledge and experience in the field of shipping. You are a positive, energetic person with good knowledge of packaging and shipping and forklift driving. You have good knowledge of shipping in a fast environment with challenging targets. We are also open to opportunities for students who can work in the Shipping department around their MBO Logistics studies. For this full-time position you have the following responsibilities:

  • Keep the assembly area clear of finished tires at all times
  • Ensure that all orders are packed in the correct size boxes and securely strapped to pallets so that no damage occurs during transit.
  • For packing accessories in order of date, checking quantities, work order description and work and order instructions
  • Ensure all orders are prepared for inspection
  • When completing an order, you check systems for any changes to the order and ensure that the labels are placed on the correct boxes.
  • Processing orders and ensuring instructions and guidelines are followed until they are finally shipped.
  • Prepare shipping documents and book EU shipments with carriers
  • Arrange labeled boxes for loading for transport

Requirements

  • A forklift certificate is an advantage
  • You speak English
  • Product knowledge of Oracle and/or Kewill/Blujay is very useful
  • Relevant work experience in a logistics department
  • Self-directed, independent and proactive
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with others
  • Willing to work outside regular working hours if necessary
