Do you have a hands-on mentality and do you like to work independently as well as in a team? Are you looking for a new challenge and do you already have some experience in the warehouse? Then we are looking for you!

At our client we are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse employee to strengthen our team. In this fulltime position you will work in a 2-shift system with alternating shifts: early shifts from 6:00 and late shifts from 18:00.

As a warehouse employee, you are responsible for loading and unloading shipments according to the applicable regulations. You check incoming goods for damage, process import shipments and ensure that the shipments are sent to the customer on time or are neatly stored in the warehouse for later shipment.

About the employer

At our client, you will find yourself in a family business with no less than 60 years of experience in the transport and handling of air and sea freight. Together with more than 450 colleagues, they offer a wide range of services in the field of import and export from three locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Think of transport, warehousing, on-airport services, customs clearance and the supply of seagoing vessels. Are you from Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp or another location near Schiphol and do you have your own transport? Then it is easy to reach for you.

Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse
  • Own transportation to get to the location
  • Flexibility – you don't mind working weekends occasionally.
  • Do you have experience on a forklift? That's a bonus!

What we offer

  • Attractive employment conditions, including a good pension scheme and travel allowance.
  • Salary in accordance with scale C of the collective labor agreement for Professional Goods Transport, ranging from €2,600 to €2,850, depending on your knowledge and experience.
  • Shift allowance (8.75%) and additional compensation for weekend services (150% on Saturday and 200% on Sunday).
  • Travel expenses allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
