What are you going to do?
Are you someone with a hands-on mentality and do you like to work independently and in a team? Are you looking for a new challenge and do you already have experience in a warehouse? Then we are looking for you!
For our client we are looking for a motivated warehouse employee to strengthen the team. In this fulltime position you will work in a 3-shift system with varying working hours: early shifts from 06:00, afternoon shifts from 14:00 and evening shifts from 22:00.
As a warehouse employee and forklift driver, you are responsible for loading and unloading shipments according to the applicable guidelines. You check incoming goods for possible damage, process import shipments and ensure that shipments are sent to the customer on time or are neatly stored in the warehouse for later shipment.
About the employer
At our client you will work in a family business with more than 60 years of experience in transport and handling of air and sea freight. Together with more than 450 colleagues, they offer a wide range of services in the field of import and export from three locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Think of transport, storage, on-airport services, customs clearance and the supply of ships.
Requirements
- Experience as a forklift driver is an advantage.
- Flexibility – you don't mind working weekends occasionally.
- In possession of a forklift certificate, or willing to obtain this through us.
What we offer
- We offer attractive employment conditions, including a good pension scheme and travel allowance.
- The salary is in accordance with scale C of the collective labor agreement for Professional Goods Transport and varies from €2,600 to €2,850, depending on your knowledge and experience.
- In addition, you will receive a shift allowance (13.75%) and an additional allowance for weekend shifts (150% on Saturdays and 200% on Sundays).
- There are opportunities for growth, for example to the position of team leader or truck driver.
- We provide company clothing and, if you perform well, you can expect a permanent contract!
