What are you going to do?

For one of our clients we are looking for someone who can strengthen the Shipping Team in Hoofddorp with fresh ideas and knowledge and experience in the field of supply chain. You are a positive, energetic person with good knowledge of outbound, data and coordination. In addition, you are not averse to additional physical work. For this full-time position you have the following responsibilities:

  • Keep the assembly area clear of finished conveyor belts at all times
  • Ensure that all orders are packed in the correct size boxes and securely strapped to pallets so that no damage occurs during transit.
  • For packing accessories in order of date, checking quantities, work order description and work and order instructions
  • Ensure all orders are prepared for inspection
  • When completing an order, you check systems for any changes to the order and ensure that the labels are placed on the correct boxes.
  • You make analyses based on the current process
  • You dive into the data to find out how to work more efficiently
  • Processing orders and ensuring instructions and guidelines are followed until they are finally shipped.
  • Prepare shipping documents and book EU shipments with carriers
  • Arrange labeled boxes for loading for transport
  • Directing the team where necessary

Requirements

  • You speak English
  • Product knowledge of Oracle and/or Kewill/Blujay is very useful
  • Relevant work experience in a logistics department
  • Self-directed, independent and proactive
  • Able to perform physical work
  • Willing to work outside regular working hours if necessary
  • A forklift certificate is an advantage
