What are you going to do?
As a truck driver, you start your day between 06:00 and 08:00 on the premises. After arriving, you grab a drink and chat with your colleagues. In the meantime, you check the route planning for that day, so that you know exactly what to expect.
Usually your truck is already loaded and you are quickly ready to go. When unloading, you use your experience and smart techniques to carry out the work efficiently. Once you have delivered all orders, you contact the planning department to let them know that you are ready. The planning department then takes care of your next load, so that you can go straight to the next assignment.
About the employer
At our client you will work in a family business with more than 60 years of experience in transport and handling of air and sea freight. Together with more than 450 colleagues, they offer a wide range of services in the field of import and export from three locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Think of transport, storage, on-airport services, customs clearance and the supply of ships.
Requirements
- To be able to perform this function you must have a C or CE driving license and Code 95.
- You can act reliably and supervise the unloading of the cargo.
- You speak Dutch and English
- A customer and service oriented attitude is highly appreciated.
- Furthermore, you are available full-time and available from Monday to Friday.
What we offer
- Attractive employment conditions, including a good pension scheme and travel allowance.
- Salary between €2800 and €3400 per month. You will be classified in the CAO Professional Goods Transport
- Additional compensation for weekend services (150% on Saturday and 200% on Sunday).
- Travel expenses allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
