Warehouse employee evening shift at Schiphol-Rijk
What are you going to do?
In this role, you will work in the outbound department. You are responsible for processing all outgoing goods. This is done using the warehouse system. In the first month, you will work in a day shift in which you will be trained. After this training period, you will switch to the evening shift. For the evening shift, it is important that you have your own transportation to travel to work.
Your duties as a warehouse employee are:
- Check for quality and quantities
- Processing outgoing goods
- Occasional work with a forklift or reach truck
About the employer
The client is active as a logistics service provider in the telecommunications and technology sector and is involved in the processing of various products, including mobile phones, televisions and CT scanners. In addition, they have a second building where all pharmaceutical products are stored. The modern warehouse consists of an area of approximately 16,000 m2 and is almost fully automated. If you live in the Amsterdam, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Schiphol or Uithoorn region, the warehouse is easily accessible by car.
Requirements
- :In this full-time position you will work from Monday to Friday.
- You work from 3pm to midnight.
- You must be able to apply for a VOG. The costs for this will be reimbursed by us.
- A good command of Dutch or English is required.
- A forklift and reach truck certificate is an advantage.
If you have not yet obtained a forklift or reach truck certificate, we offer this as a course.
What we offer
- You will receive a salary between €2,400 and €2,525 gross per month, depending on your experience.
- For working the evening shift you will receive an allowance on top of your salary.
- Travel expenses allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
- Holiday pay and holiday hours.
- A full-time employment contract for a longer period of time.
- Free parking.
- You start with a temporary employment contract through us. If you perform well, there is certainly a prospect of permanent employment with the client.
- We pay your salary every 4 weeks.
