What are you going to do?
In the role of Team Leader Logistics, you will manage a team of approximately 30 to 35 machine and system operators in a fully automated logistics department. Because you interact with your team and colleagues on the floor on a daily basis, proficiency in Dutch is a must. In this environment, dry groceries (DKW) and fresh produce are processed using modern technology and advanced systems. You ensure that the daily operation runs efficiently, on time and with high quality.
You will work in a 4-shift system, consisting of 6 morning shifts, 6 evening shifts and 6 night shifts – including weekends. During your shift lead services, you will be responsible for the entire distribution center and will manage more than 100 employees at a time. This responsibility is included in your salary package.
Leadership is in your DNA: you know how to give direction to your team in a natural and clear way. You are not afraid to address people — including fellow team leaders — when necessary. You enjoy working with people and are always looking for opportunities to improve processes and organize smarter. You report directly to the operational manager, and your first step in growth is the position of junior operational manager.

The role of Team Leader Logistics is set in Bleiswijk, a location that is easily accessible from Zoetermeer, Rotterdam and Gouda, among others. Requirements
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably in logistics or technology
- Demonstrable leadership experience in a logistics or automated environment
- Knowledge of HACCP, quality assurance, safety policy and lean principles
- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English
- You have strong communication skills and know how to address and connect with people.
- You are willing to work in a 4-shift system, including nights and weekends
What we offer
- Salary between €3,564 and €4,536 gross per month plus structural shift allowances (average approx. 14%)
- Salary payment every 4 weeks — so you receive 13 payments per year
- 37 hour workweek with payment for 40 hours
- 24 days of vacation per year based on full-time employment

- 'Not sick' bonus up to 120% of your gross weekly salary
