What are you going to do?
As a Working Foreman, you are responsible for planning and managing the operational team, with the aim of realizing the set agreements and KPIs. Your work includes coordinating and ensuring the availability of necessary materials and resources.
In addition, you are the first point of contact for the team, the operational escalation point for internal customers and knowledge carrier of the operational processes. When new employees are hired, you help with the guidance and training.
About the employer
The client is active as a logistics service provider in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and technology sector and is involved in the processing of various products. This includes medicines, mobile phones, televisions and CT scanners. The modern warehouse covers an area of approximately 16,000 m2 and is almost fully automated. If you live in the Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanstad or Haarlemmermeer region and are looking for a large company in logistics, this may be something for you.
Requirements
- You already have some experience in a managerial role
- You are responsible, stress-resistant and results-oriented
- You are physically fit to perform operational tasks
- During the first month of induction you will work in the day shift from 08:30 to 17:30
- You will then be available to work in an evening shift. Working hours are from 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Because the location is difficult to reach in the evening, you must have your own transportation.
What we offer
- Full-time employment for a longer period with the prospect of a permanent contract
- A salary based on your experience. This could be a gross monthly salary between €2,750 and €3,000
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer
- Holiday pay and holiday hours
- 20% surcharge for working in the evening shift
