Logistics Employee in Purmerend
What are you going to do?
A forklift driver has various responsibilities, including receiving and checking products, efficiently loading and unloading trucks and moving pallets in the warehouse. In this role, you will spend half of your working time on the forklift to collect various orders. This is done both indoors and outdoors. The remaining time is spent lifting and packing heavy building materials. In addition, you help customers with loading and securing the goods.

The company is part of a European building materials group that is active in several countries and has sustainability high on its agenda. Through a rich history of collaborations and acquisitions since 2015, the company has grown into a specialist with a wide range and strong own brands.
They have multiple locations throughout the Netherlands. For this job, you will work at the Purmerend branch. If you come from Purmerend, Volendam, Amsterdam-Noord or Zaandam, the company is easy to reach.
Requirements
- You have a customer-friendly attitude;
- You are able to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy products;
- You have experience on a forklift;
- You are available to start at 6:00 AM
- The working days depend on the workload and your colleagues. You therefore have a flexible attitude;
- Good command of your Dutch or English language.
What we offer
- Employment contract of at least 24 hours per week;
- The salary is based on the Hibin collective labor agreement;
- This gives you a salary of €15.14 per hour. This includes ADV;
- Vacation days and vacation pay
- Travel expenses allowance of €0.21 per kilometer;
- We contribute to your pension;
- You start with a temporary employment contract, but there is certainly a prospect of permanent employment;
