Expedition employee in IJmuiden
What are you going to do?
For a leading player in fish wholesale and processing, we are looking for an expedition employee who knows how to tackle things. In this versatile role, you will be busy preparing fresh and frozen fish products for shipment every day. Everything is pre-packed and stacked from the boat, after which the pallets end up with you. With the help of a forklift truck, you ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly. In addition, you also help out in production if necessary. No day is the same, and teamwork is central here! On a normal day, you will perform the following tasks:
- Preparing and delivering fish products for shipment
- Count and track inventory in the system
- Forklift operations (loading/unloading)
- Provide support to the production department during quieter logistics
- Working with handheld scanners and inventory software (pré)

The location is easily accessible from IJmuiden, Beverwijk, Heemskerk, Amsterdam-West and Haarlem.
Requirements
- You are accurate and feel responsible
- You speak and write good Dutch
- You are available to work from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- You enjoy working with fish
- Valid forklift certificate and driving experience
- Experience with inventory management software is a plus
If your certificate has expired, we can help you with a refresher course.
